Sakai Permanent link to this item in the archive.

The Sakai Project has an OPML feed but it doesn't open with a double click from my outline in the OPML editor. Wonder why not.

And this update doesn't appear in the blog. Just as the individual day's file for today. Hmm... OKK now it's there. Just a short delay. Perhaps Dave's servers are creaking under the strain...?

Social Security Administration errors set to continue Permanent link to this item in the archive.

The SSA computer system sometimes sends social security cards to incorrect addresses. MIT alumnus Jonathan Kamens says a software bug was implemented between 1998-2000. He wants the SSA to fix the problem.

Kamens has a wonderful history of complaining. SSA better watch out! (Not so easy to close that account, though.)

Sex and terrorism Permanent link to this item in the archive.

After reading diary excerpts from British jihadist Zeeshan Siddique in the New York Times, Ann Coulter thinks the jihadists' problem is they're ill-at-ease socially.

These guys are klutzes. Nerds. Dweebs. ... they're at the convention center with the other "Star Trek" fans. ... "constantly laughed at & ridiculed." Ahmed can't get a date, and now the rest of us have to suffer.

Meanwhile, Virginia Tech has introduced sex-segregated classes for Saudis.
