What will it do with Google Talk? I don't quite get it. Hot Recorder works with Google Talk now, but the site says it's been upgraded to include voice mail for Google Talk. What does that mean? Could you also record a chat? If you could, it would be handy for podcast interviews. Or, for my lit game podcast, it would be great for guest readings. New Who Said game passage up tonight, by the way. Just me; no guest. I'm taking the day off work today because I slaved over the weekend, but I did have to do some personal taxi duty this morning. I was in the car so long that the NPR stories started to repeat. Renee Montagne might as well have announced, "Amy's been driving around Chicago longer than we expect anybody to be listening to this show." One story I heard twice was the NYT's David Pogue and his tale of hard drive failure. He shipped his drive off to Drive Save, a place that restores hard drives for a fee starting at $1,000. Pogue quizzed his tech about the work. Ryan the tech said the company has a staff suicide counselor for customers. |
