Les looks so much like my brother I do a doubletake when I open his OPML blog. I wonder if there is a Michigan look. There's certainly an accent, and I heard on NPR last week that the northern cities accent is becoming stronger, not blending in. I'll see if I can find the interview with the linguist. That was easy. Here it is.
