Embarassed 

Phil Jones tells why he thinks Dave's formats catch on when others don't. Part of the secret is evangelism. I think all that makes sense.

The part about the infantile fan club hurt my feelings, even though Phil is listing what other people say. I suppose I fit that description, and maybe some of the others here do too.

I'll probably be bummed until sometime tomorrow, then go back to being silly and enthusiastic. I don't know any other way to live and work and play, and just be. Right now I feel stupid. I look at my blog and see the bright colors and the ice cream cone and think, yeah, I'm a childish jerk. But now I'm doing what one of my sons hates to see his friends do on their blogs -- I'm "going all emo."
