Conversation between Adam, my 21-year-old, and Aaron, the 17-year-old:

Adam: "If you say 'gank' instead of 'gack,' meaning 'to kill,' you are a douchebag under 18."

Aaron: "The meaning changed and there's nothing you can do about it now."

Adam: "Dude. You're 12."

Dave made a passing reference to this part of my Sunday post about Share Your OPML during the podcast interview he did with Dan Farber yesterday. It was fun to get mentioned. Funny thing. I think he almost said something about me probably not knowing what metadata was. It's true I might not be able to define it. Kind of him to think better of saying as much!

Check out the podcast. Dave also talks about phasing out of blogging near the end of the interview, and mentions that he doesn't write on his blog anymore about how he feels about things. I had noticed a change in the nature of his blogging, but hadn't pinpointed what was different about it.
