Hey Gary Could you be needled into getting rid of that popup ad on your blog? Doing another Phorum installation I like the message board software I'm using for my comments board so well that I recommended it to the Dregston talk community. Dregston is a 6-year-old spinoff of a Jane Austen site for people who 1) Were kicked out of Pemberley 2) Wanted to discuss things with other grownups (Austen sites tend to attract a lot of gushy teenage girls) 3) Wanted to talk about politics and other topics not allowed at Pemberley 4) Like a smaller online community I'd lost interest in the site, like I always do, but it still runs on my server. The boards worked well on DCForum for a long time, but spam started getting to be a bad problem, and there were no fixes in sight, since the developer essentially abandoned the product. (I guess he must tire of things like I do!) So I'm setting up the site with Phorum this weekend. It's nice to get Hil's drawings back in. I did a DCForum upgrade several months ago and never redecorated. New site in progress. Existing site. Lest I repeat myself Just assume that every post contains the guilt-laden preface, "I really should be packing, but..." Who said this? "Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read." No fair Googling. God will know (and he'll tell me). Post your answer to the comments board, or the chat box.
