| Fact: The OPML blog - which initially seemed to be the whole point of developing and releasing the OPML Editor - basically has become irrelevant. The only significant OPML blogger is Dave, and even in his case, he primarily uses it as a blog of his other blogs. |
On my last two Mental Health Missives I have been talking about the symptoms of and treatment for Borderline Personality Disorder. This has me thinking about what is relevant and irrelevant.
In fact, people have all different kinds of assets and liabilities. I am of the belief that the way to have a life of quality is to pursue that which one does well. It's a lot like the Serenity Prayer. Trying to change the things I can't is a futile exercise. Having the courage to improve and grow in the areas that can change, is the right path for me. I am effective in working with patients who suffer from personality disorders, and this is where I focus my attention.
I love this blog tool, but it is silly for me to think that I could improve the code, or the useability. I leave that up to the people who can do these things.
I am pleased with what I have done with this blog, and if no one reads, that's OK, too. You see, self-actualization means that I do what I do because it feels right, not because I have to, but because I want to...
Thanks, Dave for allowing anyone who wants, to have a blog.
