I have the day off, and the grid is down Nothing like a lack of access to Second Life to cue me to the fact that this blog hasn't seen an update in several days/weeks. I really want to show you pictures, because to me Second Life is about a visual space, otherwise I could just write about it. So, I will see what I can upload to my hosting space, and what I can share with you: I have opened up a shop on the new Paris sim. The whole thing happened serendipitously (is that a word?) Anyway, what happened was that the putative mayor--Chriss Darkes IMed me because he wanted to buy my clock in a different size. When I found out that it was for the new Paris 1900 sim, a victorian recreation of the city of lights, I was ecstatic. Once I looked around I realized it was the perfect venue for a new clothing store in which I could sell my designs for more Lindens. Here are some pics:
By the way, Rowan Carroll of She's So Unusual Blog, reviewed my Second Life Shop. Dedric: My co-workers saw a pic of my friend Dedric on my PC at work, and they went ga-ga. Is there something wrong with me? In a world where everyone looks good, it's hard to go crazy over someone's looks. I like Dedric because he is nice, loves people, is giving and eternally curious about stuff. Hmmmm, who does that sound like? Dedric has a new podcast. He calls it Blue Hair which was a name suggested at Podcamp in SL. Here's other stuff. Teaching at Mystical Masterys,and a fashion shot from Paris shop. I have a shop in Paris!!!!
