Someone, whose name I can't remember, sent me an invitation to a fashion party t Acedia Fashions, the work of fashion goddess Acedia Albion. I didn't really know the person who sent me the invite, nor do I know Acedia--although her clothes are so above average--but I couldn't resist trying on the outfit that came with the invite. I can't help but feel creeped out by becoming a child avie, when I am all grown up. I know there are folks running through Second Life playing at being children, and you just have to imagine what this engenders. There are a lot of threads on the forum about this, but I won't link to them here. On a lighter note: My friend Micala Lumiere is re-creating the famous Penn State annual charity dance marathon: Thon, on her Mill Pond island, and you can come (Please) and give your Lindens for a worthy cause. I will be doing a charity class, building an ice cream cone from the Penn State Creamery. Yum!
