Well looks like Doug managed to fix the issues with the IT Conversations iTunes directory well done Doug.

 The procedure and settings he illustrates in his blog indicate some of the issues with iTunes podcasting support, I would imagine other podcasters have found other flaws in Apple's model.

 I think I will stick to my new regime of splitting podcasts and music as I indicated previously, this seems to be working well for me so far.
