Podcasting question: Does anyone know of a good way to record Skype calls on a Mac? I've followed these instructions and I think it works fine, but it's so damn complicated! It looks like Gizmo Project allows you to record your calls w/one button -- that's the level of complexity I'm looking for. Unfortunately, I don't think anyone uses Gizmo Project and a lot of people use Skype. I guess I could just ask the people I'm interviewing to download the Gizmo so we could make it work, but barring that, does anyone know something simple w/Skype? Note: About the above request, who's going to reply and how would I know if they did? Without trackbacks or referrer logs I can't tell who has visited or linked here, and without comments there's no easy way for anyone to reply to my query. The OPML blogs need comments! I wonder if HaloScan would work.... No. I don't think Haloscan will work b/c it's not possible to adjust things at the individual post level on the template. There's just a %body%macro at this point and I don't think that would be the right place for the comment links... Rogue Ameoba makes really cool software but they sure do want to make sure you pay for it! Nag nag nag! How about when you say you've got a free 30 day demo, you give me a free 30-day demo and then remind me that I need to pay if I want to continue using your great project? Or no, if that's too much, give me a one-day trial, or a week, or something. But don't say you've got a 30-day free trial and then nag me every five minutes for the next 30 days. Very uncool. Hi. I've set this weblog to display 5 days of entries at once on the home page so it will be less likely to be empty when visitors arrive. I'm not using it much at the moment because things are too busy at work and it's just not a good idea to play w/tech toys on the clock, is it? |
