Podcast networks OK with me if they are loose Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Play the current passage in my Who Said literature game.

I understand that a network of quiz podcasts is organizing. I'll talk to my fellow quizmasters about it. I'll withhold judgement until I hear more, but I don't think I want to be in any federation that's very exclusive or formal.

For one thing, my literature game fits into a bunch of categories and could belong to different kinds of networks, so I wouldn't want to join just one. It's a game or fun quiz. It's education. It's entertainment; yes there are millions of people who read the classics for fun. Sometimes over and over again. (The whole idea of this just horrifies some students seeking online help with papers, as we learned at The Republic of Pemberley.)

Besides all that, I wouldn't want to have to conform to anybody else's way of doing things. I know it's smart to conform sometimes; hey, I used to work for a franchise consulting firm. It's the best expansion method ever invented. But it also tends to render things not real anymore.
