Hil and I are trying out the outliner. I'm having trouble with inclusions. Go back and read the support site again, Amy. OK. I was able to bring in an outline, but nearly crashed again when I clicked on a link in the included outline. Solution: I won't click on that link again! The comments resulting from Dave's invitation to think about camps have taken an interesting turn. Now it's a colony. That gets my old utopian dreams churning again. Why not take it to the next step and found a micronation? The teachers in my district are close to striking with school opening tomorrow. I was in the middle of an 8-week teacher strike once, when I worked in PR for the St. Louis Public Schools in the late 70s. I spied on a rally where Al Shanker came in to stir up the troops and got so caught up in the frenzy, I sang the Internationale all the way back to the office and wrote a report with too many exclamation points, saying the teachers would never compromise. Plenty of "outside agitators" came sniffing around. The administration had a lawyer from Chicago known as a ruthless strike breaker, and the students called in Jessie Jackson. He usually doesn't need much of an invitation to come play peacemaker. Fun times. I'm going to try some quick-hit posts with no headlines. I tried doing that once before but quickly slipped back into my old ways. |
