I got back five weeks worth of posts by running the getFilesChangedSince synchronization thing. I had 245 files. I guess that's a lot, and some of them are kind of big, so the process timed out. But I got this little error message which would not have meant anything to me if the #3 window hadn't popped up just then to explain. I added a zero to 3600, ran it again and got my files. I think it's great when somebody like me, a non-programmer who isn't afraid to try things, has been given the chance to see what's going on. Bravo.
I'm still missing 12/22 - 1/6. I'll try changing communities back to tagcamp.com and see if I can do the sync while there. Got more stuff back when I was over at my old house Did the sync and I have the files on my computer. But those I grabbed from the server while registered at tagcamp.com are not showing up (yet) on my opml.org blog. I wonder if I just have to touch them? If I make a slight change, like adding space so the file is different enough, the new blog day file will show up if typed into the browser, but doesn't (or hasn't yet) shown up as a link on the calendar. |
