Thank you, Bill Permanent link to this item in the archive.

MotoBill recalled some questions he had when he first started using the editor and wrote up some FAQ questions for the 1.0 site. Thanks so much.

Bill, aren't you the one in Aurora? I'm in Naperville.

Now watch this trickery. Ready? I took the OPML file for Bill's blog posts today, which includes his FAQs:

And included it in the draft docs outline. (Expand the FAQ node by clicking on the triangle to see his contribution.)

Another type of user to interview Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Yesterday I mentioned it might be useful to OPML newbies to have audio interviews with different types of users available on the new support site. I forgot about directories and the car roll reminded me of it. We could talk to one of the node editors of the ipodder directory. Just an ordinary category editor, not necessarily the directory coordinator. Somebody who used to edit the OPML by hand, maybe.

Dean's cars Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Dean, I added all the cars you've ever owned to all the cars we've ever owned. You asked if I'm still maintaining it. Some of its inclusions have gone dark (Dave's, Wilk's -- well, now just Josh's), but as long as people are still giving me their lists I'll keep adding them in! Thanks.

Later: it looks like Dean hasn't been around in a while, hasn't posted to his blog in about a month. That offers an opportunity to see how commenting out a node works when it's an inclusion node.
