Fran gets the movie quote 

It's Rob in one of his talking-to-the-camera scenes in High Fidelity. In the Nick Hornsby novel the setting is London instead of Chicago and the music is all different, but the tone is exactly the same.

Trying a new chat box 

Another free thing called Ajax Chat. See it in the sidebar here and on the comments board. Something like this would be neat for an OPML Editor community server operator, if the aim was to tie the bloggers together in some way. A number of different blogs could share the same shoutbox, so the same conversation would be going on in any number of different places.
