Five more Dregston boards to set up 

I love Hil's drawings. (I guess I just love everything today! Thinking about all those dead soldiers must have had an unintended effect on me.) Isn't this one pretty? I usually don't even like orange. Maybe thinking of it as tomato sauce with butter and cream makes this orange appealing.

Cheap and cool mutually exclusive in the U.S.? 

I love Ikea. Everything is so cool and cheap. Why can't we do that more? Good taste doesn't have to be expensive. I have an idea there easily could be more nicely designed yet affordable products offered for sale in the U.S. if the distributors wanted to do it. Instead we have to pay for cool.

To be fair, in the home furnishings arena, some discount stores have come up with pretty nice looking special lines in recent years, but nothing like an Ikea concept.

I'm headed back there today with extra muscles. I made a scouting foray last night. I can do that now a new one opened about 15 minutes from me. The other and first Chicago location was at least an hour away, an expedition. Now it's only a dash.
