You can put my chat box on your blog Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Might be fun to have it all over several OPML blogs. The same conversation will show up in every instance. Let me know if you're using it so I can let you know if my bandwidth goes through the roof.

Paste this in wherever you want it. Style it yourself for background color, border and size:

<IFRAME style='width:390px; height:350px; border: 1px #cccccc solid; padding:5px; background-color: #F6F4EB;' frameborder="0" name="chat" scrolling="auto" src='http://www.questiontheanswer.com/chat/index.php?branch=shout' ></IFRAME>

Half creative; half depressing Permanent link to this item in the archive.

I just had an idea. The chat box is in an iframe, so you could just as well put it on your desktop as a local file.

The depressing part: call it a widget and make it blue and give it a babytalk name and have a young MBA type pitch to a VC and claim it needs funding and the VC would get all whipped up and not realize it's only a fun little nothing and get other people all whipped up about it and poof! It's Web 2.0.

Here it is sans the scenario, but it is blue, and you could call it a widget if you want to. Save the HTML file to your desktop: Chataboo.htm

Later: And I even made it masquerade as a real app though all the exe file does is open a browser! Windows only: Chataboo.exe. I'm stopping all this now.

Taken by a photograph Permanent link to this item in the archive.

I'm really taken by that cornflower picture. Much as I love my sherbet cone header graphic, I might try the flowers for a while as the header. Maybe do some Photoshop filter tricks on it to change it up.

Boy, I'm just going wild, aren't I? Making radical life changes -- first cancelling Netflix, and now this. Will I be able to manage the upheaval wrought by this rampage?

Seriously, the thing about changes like this is you can take them back, so why the hell not shake things up in little ways. Keeps you from getting old.

From what song? "I was taken by a photograph of you." No fair googling. Answer on the comments board or in the chat box here:

It seems like there are a lot of new OPML blogs. I wonder if more people are downloading the editor, or if it's because of the "it worked" page.
