Found my Cornflowers today Permanent link to this item in the archive.

I'll show you.

I also cut some,

but I think I left them too long in the car

without water. We'll see in the morning.

Why am I going on about this weed? Because the color moves me. That's the whole thing.

My models for my blog colors:

I've been on a blue and yellow kick at work too, and now I'm afraid I've exhausted myself with them.

Got a look at PeopleAggregator Permanent link to this item in the archive.

It's the thing Marc Canter has been talking about. First impression is it feels like a MySpace, Live Journal kind of place that kids would take to, but it could be a lot more. You can have your own blog, belong to groups and networks, publish audio and pictures and video.

I wonder what would be the best way to get kids to go there. Maybe set up a street team of the kids of us old farts. Get them to evangelize that it's not The Man's social spot. That might do it.

I created a Chicago network and it set up a subdomain on the fly. I thought that was neat.

I see all the work that went into it. I think I like it.

Later: Uh-oh. Looks like the invite list was not terribly exclusive. That's not cool. But I still like the thing!

How is it that some folks just don't have a very developed sense of what's not cool to do. I seem to remember Marc thinking there was nothing wrong with editing his own Wikipedia entry too. I guess some smart people are very perceptive about certain things and lacking in perception about other things. But I still like the thing!

Yum Permanent link to this item in the archive.

I made beef stock from scratch last night, overnight, with an actual soup bone -- then threw in a bunch of barley and veggies after work tonight. I can't stay away from it. I'm on my fourth bowl. If my brother was here, he'd say, "Sure, I'll smoke a bowl."

Like, totally gross Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Listening to junior high pottytalk on Gillmor Daily. Not my humor cup of tea, but when there's that much giggling going on it's infectious. Giggling is healthy for all human beings. You may quote me.
