Tell me in the chat window if you're listening! I'm trying a demo server with Wavestreaming.com. I tried setting up my own server on Sunday but gave it up as a bad job when I realized I had to get into port forwarding and a bunch of crap. To have it hosted you pay a monthly fee based on the number of listeners and bitrate.

I'm curious to know what it sounds like from the outside. The demo uses 24k, the lowest available.

Though it's not advertised, it seems to work with Yahoo Music Engine, too, which I installed a while back but haven't had the interest to mess around with much. Or at least YME wants to work with it, it's trying. It opened the file and played it for 30 seconds before deciding it needed to download an upgrade that plugs some security hole.

Mailto function on my OPML blog 

Even though I don't display the mailto icon on my blog anymore, I'm still getting spam. I ignored it when the volume ranged from one every other day to two a day but suddenly today I got 17 spam messages in e-mail. I don't want to direct it to my e-mail client's spam filter because I want to received other mail from opml.org addresses.

I took a quick look around and didn't see anything I felt comfortable enough changing, so as a temporary measure I'm trying changing my e-mail address in the preferences in dotOpmlData.root. I know that's probably not a great idea longterm, but I want the spam to stop. Later: Way, way not a great idea, since it acts as my username. I can't post since it can't authenticate, apparently?

I suppose the solution would be to use Captcha or something like it on the mailto page. I'll make a note of it on my little things outline.
