Birthday math 

Time for me to consider 52. Here's last year's birthday math.

For this year the division works out perfectly. I was married at 26, half my life ago. I've been unmarried a little over 13 years, half again. So the four chunks so far can be characterized by family type:

0-13 Dependent on family of origin

13-26 Me me me

26-39 Them them them

39-52 Splintered

52-65 Probably me me me again. I don't know.

Expressing their independence through their medium 

Rocketboom drama details come out. Turns out a field report starring Joanne, the new host, was shot on July 4, the day before Amanda's wistful "He doesn't want me anymore" video was posted.

Yeah, well.

As Amanda says, it doesn't exactly support Andrew's statement that he never saw Rocketboom without Amanda. Never until a certain point, I suppose. By July 4 ties on both sides must have felt tenuous at best. They both must have been shooting video expressing their independence on the 4th of July.
