Trying out Blip.tv 

I put up the Flash thing I made last night. Blip takes Flash files. I could never find a way to make Google video or YouTube accept a Flash file, though YouTube makes video files into Flash, so that doesn't make any sense.

You get a video blog: amyloo.blip.tv. NewsRiver doesn't like the RSS feed.

Now I'm searching my hard drive for all the Flash stuff I have. More than I realized. All pretty lame stuff. I am an impatient student of Flash and put things out that are not exactly polished, but I get tired of farting around with them after a certain point.

The viewers have spoken in an echo of Ronald Reagan, and while it's far more trivial, it's no less symbolic. Then what to your wondering eyes should appear, Joanne did tear down the Rocketboom map today. Viewer submissions are requested on the wiki, which nobody seems to be taking to. I wonder why, stuck in comfortable mode with the comments, I suppose.

He's not our enemy 

Dave's taking some heat for his comments about BlogHer. I've taken issue with a few things he's said about women from time to time, but give the guy a break. He's doing us lots lots more good than harm. I don't believe he has even the slightest misogynist tendency in the respect that he seems to truly wish us well. (Real pigs don't like us, and don't want us to have our own hearts' desire.) He probably couldn't have said anything he wouldn't be blasted for, so I'm glad he's talking.
