Got Joost. Cool how it plays sort of as your wallpaper. If you have a big enough screen, you can do other stuff on top of it. Watched the Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. I'd forgotten how primitive the animation is. Kind of ahead of its time, almost like South Park or Homestar. Enter bimboism, exit serious women geeks Dear Jason, Just listened to CalacanisCast Beta 17, the one with the Tell Me guy. Good interview, exciting stuff possible with voice commands for all kinds of devices. However, I want to beg you to nix the idea of using the Go Daddy girls in your show. For me (and I'm sure a lot of other geek women) that kind of behavior says "This podcast is not meant for you. Go away." I cringed especially hard when the idea of an attractive woman who didn't understand the news she was reading was considered by you and your producer to be "even better [than knowing what she is talking about?]." Do reconsider. Sounds like the idea came up in idle spontaneous brainstorming, and I think it would be smart business to leave it parked right there in idle. Thanks. I'm working from home today, on some mindless e-mail newsletters. No, the newsletters aren't mindless, just this part of my part in producing them. Maybe I'll finally sign up for Twitter, for company, instead of cable news, for today.
