Josh Bell earns some coin busking in DC 

Washington Post story, via my big guy, who I took to see Bell in Bloomington when he (son) was about 11. It was a fun informal summer performance, with mostly music students in attendance, who came in shorts and treated it like a rock concert.

And to be fair, a little guy mention, too 

I got my younger son a second, matching, monitor for his high school graduation present. It's really a cool thing to have if you're a gamer.

He complimented me on a modification I made to the box it came in. Our cats, like most cats, love boxes, so we keep new ones around a few days for them. "That was really nice of you to cut a window in the side of the box for them, Mom," he said. "It's like a little house."

Actually I cut out the barcode for the rebate.
