Countdown widget for Facebook and as a Google Gadget

I stumbled around in my usual way and managed to make the Facebook app tonight. It's a shame you can't put a Flash file directly on the user profile page. I suppose if a bunch of big honking videos all were loading in the profile it would slow things down too much, but it seems like they could do a file size limit to let Flash like mine slip by. My .swf file is only 5k, not all that much bigger than my icon file.

You have to make a still image for when the page loads, which is clickable, then you can see the Flash.

All you do is put something like this in the default FBML field of the app config form to make it show up on the user's profile:

I wonder if it has anything to do with the TinyURL outage. I can't remember if it uses tinys or not. Maybe it's Magpie. Don't feel like debugging it right now though. I hate fixing things; would always much rather make something new. That's the nice thing about hobby projects. You don't gotta do nothin'.
