Blip: We'll try Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Complaint of the day is Blip.tv. I get this message in linking a Wordpress site to my Blip account:

Please enter the login information for your blog. blip.tv will store this information in its database so that it can post to your blog. We will do our best to keep your login information safe.

Emphasis is mine. I think I want a more confident promise than that. Wouldn't you rather hear "It will be safe" than, "We'll try." I suppose it's a CYA dodge, which is understandable but not much of a comfort.

Most everything else about Blip I love. Also, somebody breaks into this blog, it's not the end of the world. It's just an experiment. But still.

I feel bad I'm always complaining about something. Jotting things down here as they strike me does at least give feedback to vendors even if nobody else ever sees it, and that can be a positive thing. They might prefer an e-mail but I think they pay more attention if a thing is blogged. Kind of like speaking up at a city commission meeting instead of talking to a clerk at city hall.

What on the Sunday chat shows Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Firedoglake always tells who's talking on Sundays.

I think I'll try to concentrate on Face the Nation today, featuring Admiral Zinni. the former Centcom commander, and three other war book authors.
