Olbermann's special comment tonight was pretty powerful, didn't you think? It's going to be spread around the internet a lot. If I were you I wouldn't discount the impact of that.

Let me add an urging to Keith's. You're fast losing any goodwill you still enjoy by not putting your foot down when there's even a hint of racism spoken on purpose or inadvertently in your name. Don't debate context or motives, just don't go there at all, it's not acceptable, period.

I'm supposed to be your base, a 53-year-old white woman, and ordinarily I'd be so proud to see a woman become leader of the free world. I cried when Nancy Pelosi became speaker, honestly never thought I'd see the day. But, you're making me ashamed. Winning this way is no victory for women. It breaks my heart to see you continue down this road.

I've been supporting Obama, and until today I was considering the wisdom of placing you on the ticket to bring the party together so we can vanquish the war party, but girl, you're making it hard for me to support even that scheme. Listen to your heart. Shut the advisors out for a day or two and make up your mind to start doing the right thing.

Crux of the campaign at the moment 

That would make a good widget, wouldn't it? How do I do the equivilent of a target=_top on a form submit button so it could be put in an iframe? See if I can find out. Though it seems like I've tried to discover how to do that once before and gave up. Help welcome.
