The Boston area Geek Dinner was wonderful event The Geek dinner last night turned out to be an interesting and fun event. The Boston area seems to once again be buzzing with start-up activity - this time Web 2.0, RSS, OPML, mashups were the buzz words. Various developer groups are forming, and valuable connections were seen to be made last night. A big thank you to Adam Green and Pito Salas for being instrumental in organizing this event, and to Indigo Tabor of TopTenSources for her support. Brian Del Vecchio wrote a great post and put up some great pictures - thanks Brian! We sorely missed Jim Moore, the founder of RSSLabs and one of the biggest supporters of innvovation and service in the RSS/OPML community Betsy Devine was kind enough to create an OPML file of Geek Dinner attendees at OPMLWorkstation. Feel free to edit this file if your information is missing or incorrect. The beauty of OPML wikis. :) [Note: you will need to click on the file name to get to the raw OPML] What next - more dinners, OPML Camp....we have a lot to look forward to in RSS Alley in the months to come! Dave Winer - perhaps time to move back to this area?! |
