Adam Green's List of Top Ten OPML Bloggers featured at the TopTenSources site today Check out Adam Green's list of Top Ten OPML Bloggers. I included the OPML from the site in the OPML wiki of OPML Bloggers at OPMLWorkstation. I was browsing some of the Publicly listed OPML files at OPMLWorkstation, and ran into a few interesting ones. Doug Clifton has created a useful Web Developers Resource Index - check it out. I had run into Doug's OPML resource page last summer when I was still an OPML newbie, and had found it quite useful. Jim Corbett's Open Irish Directory is another wonderful resource that seems to be growing in leaps and bounds, and a demonstration of the vision of using OPML to build large and distributed directories of information. Check out the directory in the Feed Grazer at his blog - very useful! As our list of Public OPML file grows, OPMLWorkstation clearly needs to allow for tagging and search of this rich pool of OPML files. Look for this to come! The RSS Alley Geek Dinner was great! The Geek Dinner was a wonderful event - I look forward to the next one. We had twice as many people as the last one this time. The highlight for me was an impromptu but animated dicussion about Web 2.0, software as a service and the general vibes we are all feeling of paradigm shifts happenning. I was delighted to see Dan Briklin again - I view him as one of the legends of my generation of software developers, and am following the development of Wikicalc closely. |
