I've been working on the template for my OPML blog. I'm pretty happy with the look. It's a variant of the Kubrick template - the only real change is the header graphic which I love. Casandra gives me the stink-eye whenever she sees it but she says I'm still allowed to use it. It's my favorite photo ever. Anyway, I've been trying to figure out how to have a click anywhere in the header graphic take you to the main blog page without much luck. Here's where the links start.

Tom Simpson left a comment on original OPML post saying that he had subscribed to my OPML Instant Outline. I subscribed to his and read his blog. He linked to David Davies new outliner tools which adds a Google search context menu to the OPML Editor. I was playing with this and did a search on a "Prep for poker" outline item I had (I'm setting up a poker game at my office). The first item that came back was from Chris Halverson's Poker Blog. His blog just so happens to be a Kubrick variant with a custom header graphic just like mine - and the whole thing is a link to the main page - just what I want. Viewing source this is the line I needed:

I switched the URL and added this to my template and it works!

I love the internet!

Nelson just posted that he reformatted IGN's Top 100 Video Games list into a very nice table. I agree with most of the choices on the list.

I set up my parents computer a few years back and I've been slowly introducing new things to them. When they told me they were going on vacation I asked them to get a CD made when they got their film developed. Then did and sent it and I just made their Flickr page. They do a lot of travel to Civil War battlefields and they were just in Antietam and Gettysburg. They like cannons!

Fix for MagicTrak 9th Edition Databases Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Thanks to this comment Alan let me know about a problem with the MagicTrak databases I recently posted. I entered the wrong ID code for the 9E set and it made MagicTrak think that Unlimited was in 9th Edition - Alan was very surprised to see Black Lotus back in the base set!! :-) The databases are fixed and posted so please feel free to download them. Sorry about this problem.
