Monday, August 01, 2005Various things I noticed while sniffing around in OPML code
system.startup.license is not updated to the GPL
There are various API keys and passwords around, e.g. user.google.key or user.im.jabber.password.
Hey, the Schockwellenreiter now has an OPML blog too!
Sunday, July 31, 2005Kosso has the OPML editor running on OS X too.
Except for the different logo, I don't see a difference right now, tho.
Apple, hehe.
Saturday, July 30, 2005Oh, yet another point... why doesn't my iBook sleep with the lid shut when OPML.app is running? I think it must be something with the network connection (Adium had a problem with timeouts and sleeping too, I don't know how they fixed it).
Friday, July 29, 2005There we go, outlining with the OPML editor.
Actually, I'm on OS X right now. I could compile the OPML editor in some easy steps:
- Get the sources from http://www.songtrellis.com/opmlkernel/
- Extract
- Start XCode on the project included in
Frontier/build_XCode
- Compile project OPML, executable OPML
- If it says it couldn't find the Info.plist, disable that entry under Project/Edit active target.
| | - Remove Build/Info.plist File
|
| | - Remove Build/Development Build Project Directory to make it not spew files all over your Mac.
|
Ok, now how do I make it:
- Make my outlines actual lists---without fuzzing around with HTML tags?
- Generate XOXO
- Have emacs keybindings
Show deeply nested text. Fixed. I decided to have a look at the source... wth dont they use dt/dd for that?
- Parse my RSS2 feed correctly.
- Create valid XHTML1.1.
- Choose a header graphic (all filenames are grayed out here).
And the default template uses tables for layout? What year do we write??
