I'm learnin' me some stuff. apparently my several years as a developer has not been for naught. working on a SQL query today, I had to produce a list of all the items that were being excluded from my query by virtue of the WHERE clause - kind of an exceptions list. Fairly simple boolean reverse of the tests I was performing. When I receive an unexpected quantity of results, of course the first place I looked was the boolean testsI was performing to see if they were correct. Of course they weren't; I had forgotten to reverse some of the logical operators. There was a time, however, that it would have taken me much longer to figure out where the problem lie |
Recently not having much to say here, I'm going to play around with putting my food-log (flog?) here to try to track my weight-loss efforts/ I'm under no illusion that anyone will want to read this, but maybe itll keep me honest ;->
