Yeah, I've been kicking the tires but that's because I love this new vehicle. Thanks Dave! What is this tremor, at exactly one-minute intervals, whether or not you are logged into blogs.opml.org? This is creepy, and must be dealt with. No reason to visibly update an open window. Too funky, Dave. Do we get to use Dave's server? How long until the first crop of OPML servers other than Dave's? Tomorrow? updating? I didn't pop up when I made the last entry. Came back after a while and couldn't get any response from the buttons on this window. Had to shut down and start up OPML again To the OPML editor wiki When I hit the view button, it asks for Explorer. I use Firefox, don't even have Explorer on my computer. It says to change things in Internet Config - no such thing in Mac OS X. Why can't it just ask to find my browser, and let me navigate to it? Or let me set it in OPML prefs? The rest of the buttons. They work the way they should - just a click. Now I'll try categories. Hmm, okay I defined a few. How do I post in a category? Someone noticed the same thing in the Mac version (the control-click issue) and seems to have fixed it). Thanks! As I discovered, the new entry button in "today's outline" requires a control click. Pretty windows-like if you ask me. And non-intuitive. But it works. And now I really do have to go to work. Just control clicked the new entry button and got a new heading, above my previous. Is it a new entry? Chiapas
Okay! Looks pretty great for a, what, .41 release? Type style and size on the interface looks a bit like Mac system 9 but otherwise it looks solid. We'll kick the tires and run it around the block. Also play with the outliner a bit. Hmm. When I saved, it was not reflected on the site. Some kind of delay? I guess we'll see what the responsiveness is. It appears that the save button in the Today's Outline window does not work, but that the save button in the pulldown menu does. Or it could be a coincidence of timing. Is it? |
