Last weird bug There was a last error that had to be corrected, on the textless master of Wierd U.S number 4 - a lack of VITC. As you'll recall, the texted (domestic) master had no VITC (vertical interval timecode) because the captioning house screwed up. On the textless (international) master, the dubbing house that cloned it failed to pass and record VITC. So I went in early today to the main production office to re-output the entire textless master, video only insert onto the audio layback. Since VITC is laid down with video, that solved the problem. Long-suffering Jerry, the production manager, was at the end of his rope. But it was an easy fix. |
