Apropos of priming the pump, does anyone like the title Punxsie Pygmalion? It's the title of what I consider one of my better short stories. One of the things I'd really like to do after I wrap up this tech book, is get back into writing some short stories and possibly podcasting them. After reading Amyloo's little musing on self-publishing, I wonder if I might get any interesting results by running some of my older stuff through Lulu and podcasting it to prime the pump? Everyone seems to be excited about Apple's Boot Camp. But, the thought of it just makes me feel dirty. What's wrong with this sentence? "I'm pretty pumped up with the potential for R.S.S. to be the DNA for wiring the Web." Awkward. Why R.S.S., yet DNA? Why not RSS and D.N.A.? Or how about following the common usage - say, RSS? Good morning. Today's catch phrase? When it rains, it pours. |
