looking for where the php.ini file is supposed to live. i need to adjust the max upload directive so that i can upload an mp3 to wordpress. can anyone help?
The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.
my hosts php info
crashed hard. i think superduper causes grief if a scheduled backup kicks in and i'm working on all kindsa stuff.
and now i update all the wordpress installs. ack. i've got to update about 7 installs or so.
done with the first one on donovan's run. wasn't too bad. just backup. deactivate plugins. copy new files over. reset permissions. reactivate plugins. test.

optimus mini three keyboard. what is this? oh, it's a mini keyboard with OLED screens on each button. i've wanted something like this for my mac for so long. i want knobs and buttons and things to push on and look at that are outside of my main monitor area. that's too cluttered. this is great.

mom: this is what we log onto when we park and we go to discussion forums, then map form, then click to continue, then we have our name displayed, watts ohana, latitiude and longitude, but it puts the last place I was in and I have to cut and paste the lat. and long. from the motosat site, then it shows on this datastormuesers.com site where we are.
Also we can read other peoples. We are #2520 on the map

what if i turned the wattsohana.com site into a family site? the bird blog becomes a category. then i get a category and so does anyone else in the watts ohana. we all publish to the site in other words. this will give a good place for brandon and christian to start blogging as well.
analog all i want. new track by aha. missed it on kcrw but need to get hold of this stuff. aha is da bomb. and so many people think they disappeared in the 80s. not so.
idea: tie in last.fm with opml editor. as each new track is played in iTunes, a new entry is created in my opml editor outline blog with the name of the song and a link to the song page on last.fm.

CreativeGuy has pointed to a very useful page for Previewing your fonts for CSS. TypeTester is a web page where you can choose fonts and immediately see how they look on screen, then get the CSS code to feed in to your site.

i wish that opml editor would place a thin horizontal line underneath any 'super entry'. you know, the entry with a blue arrow next to it. that way, it the super entry would be obviously separate from a post that resides below it and which is not a super entry. kinda smushes together right now.

did opml editor newsriver subscribe option just get moved to a dialog box rather than a web page? if so, cool......

tonight, right as i was going to record my latest thoughtStream, i pulled up my site on opml.org but it was down. uh-oh. that's my show notes up there. fortunately, i keep my show notes in opml editor so i just referred to the outline instead. try that with wordpress.

maybe the tweacs audio posts i've been recording aren't necessary after all. i can just have some friggin' robot do my job for me. there's some code you can put in your post so that every post has a link to the robot reading your post.

it seems that talkr might not understand the permalink url that opml editor generates. in particular, the # sign i believe. because when i enter the following url as a test according to their instructions i should get an audio post of this show. but i get an error because it doesn't see the #robotsSpeakYourBlogPostsAtTalkr part of the permalink. drat.

explaining more about my radio to wordpress project
to clear up why I requested the script... here's some more info on my current project for anyone interested.
For my needs, I have two installations of Radio UserLand and I'm tired of swapping between them to post to different blogs. So, I'm keeping one blog, my missing manual, in Radio and I'm moving my personal blog, iceplant radio, into WordPress. BTW, I run many different weblog systems.. radio, wordpress, blogger, basecamp, manila, and a few more. Being able to move my data around is crucial.
In my mind, exporting my Radio posts and importing them into another weblog system should be fairly easy to do. I can fairly easily import/export from other weblogs but when it comes to Radio I'm hitting some walls.
For instance, you know the Item-level field link that Radio provides you? I've been using this for years to enter a URL associated with my posts. Unfortunately, this seems to be a Radio specific way of dealing with this kind of link so getting it to import, along with the rest of your post, into wordpress for example is impossible without some work on your part. that's why i'm asking here for some help getting my data into a format that _preserves_ my very important Item-level link fields.
The reason I want to assign every post to the home page as well as a category is partly for the following..
Even to mirror your blog to a manila or blogger site, you must choose a category for each post. Want to mirror your home page entries that haven't been assigned a category? You are out of luck.
The other reason I want to assign every post to only one category is that I don't want the categories that I've created in Radio UserLand to compete with the categories I have setup in WordPress. So, my answer is to put every post from my Radio blog into the category of 'iceplant radio daze' and have that become a new category in WordPress containing the archive of my Radio posts.
Long winded I know but that's what I am lately.

finally i have arrived at something that i think may work for me. usually, coming up with a show format for iceplant radio has been a real challenge. with thoughtStream with enclosure audio clips (tweacs) the show has already been written. by me throughout the day. at night, i recap the day's captured thoughts, thinking aloud about my thoughts. whoa.
i'm treating the tweacs like i am my thoughtStream posts... that is, with abandon. i am determined to upset my apple cart and experiment here. fuck status quo and fuck convention. we are building new ground here. you know who you are and you know what i'm talking about.
