andy fragen: AppleJack is one of those indispensable programs. It's now up to version 1.4.2, go get it. I run it every time I have to restart my Mac and I have it running on every Mac I own.
good hard work on the henninger homestead today. michael and i installed a gate at the front of his property. the ground here is full of rocks so we had to purchase a hole digger. a 14lb bar essentially that we used to dig out a hole. it made the work go by fairly quickly but it was still a lot of hard work. will post photos to flickr soon.

cocomment is a repository for the various comments you leave on sites. thanks to techcrunch for pointing this service out. i got an invite and it's pretty cool. a little bit of figuring out how to get old comments into the system but no worries. i might just start from here.

I always thought highly of Dan's narrative approach and tried it myself on a couple of posts. It was frustrating. Fun but frustrating and definitely slows the process. Isn't that strange?
