added a few more tabs to my thoughtStream site. everything changes. Permanent link to this item in the archive.

gotta make the list of podcasts on my new podcasts page be a rendered opml outline. no excuses. i'm ashamed to say it's currently just an html based bulleted list. Permanent link to this item in the archive.

neat design, amy. Permanent link to this item in the archive.

les: "Here's something I just stumbled upon: I've seen some people wondering just what gets updated after getting the latest code for the OPML Editor." thanks, les. i've been asking this question for months. Permanent link to this item in the archive.

my new opml coffee mug Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Click on the coffee mug to add Donovan Watts' Instant Outline to your OPML Editor buddy list. thanks to icon buffet, i just got a new pack of icons called Marseilles Cafe. java beans, coffee cups, baristas, tables, muffins. it's enough to make you gag. and replace your instant outliner opml coffee mug with a high quality png file.

go on, click on my coffee mug to subscribe to my instant outline in your opml editor. i'm heating up some tea on the campfire for you tea-nuts as well.

i want to step things up a bit. now that i'm able to thoughtCast from my laptop over a wifi network to at least a couple of people at one time, i want to look into a shoutcast server setup so i'm not dishing this stuff up right from my laptop. i want to be able to do both ultimately. it's all part of the thoughtStreaming process under construction. can anyone set me in the right direction? Permanent link to this item in the archive.

cosmicdread: "I'm getting much better reception from Donovan's thoughtCast now. I knew this guy could come up with a solution." HA! I LOVE THE PICTURE. CHECK IT OUT! Permanent link to this item in the archive.

i agree with you, marty. as i said in my podcast i know that the code is inside just waiting for someone to wire it up. but who will wire it up? maybe not dave and i don't know how. so, until someone steps up and wires in opml to hmtl rendering or local glossaries, we are stuck. how to best get this wiring job done is my next question. Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Your feedback wanted: is this thing on? can you hear the music and/or my voice? i just added an A record at my host so this URL should be working:

oh yeahhhh.. this tune by craig jacks started playing on itunes and i just couldn't resist sharing it with you all. open my thoughtCast in your mp3 player and listen along with me. i'll leave my thoughtCast open for a while so you can hear what i hear. this ain't your fancy podcasting hoopla. it's good old fashioned, real-time broadcasting. if you don't catch it now, you'll never hear it.

i'll be hanging out at the thoughtStream campfire as well so if you want to chat, let's meetup. i'm taking requests.

i'd like to say, "Welcome, thoughtCast listener #1!"

dean is a thoughtStream listener. he finds it the perfect distraction. yes! me too! Permanent link to this item in the archive.

the creative commons effect Permanent link to this item in the archive.

this is neat. an example of the creative commons license in effect. for the law and disorder site, we wanted to have a more interesting header image. so, my client went poking around on flickr and found this photo. canton took this photo and sprinkled some magic pixel dust and converted it into the new header image. To complete the circuit, I placed the attribution in the site footer. everyone is happy.

i really like this idea of amy's. audio interviews of how people are using the opml editor. i'd love to record some skype chats like this for a thoughtStream. Permanent link to this item in the archive.

it's a beautiful, SUNNY day here in washington. Permanent link to this item in the archive.

the new header is in place for the Law and Disorder Radio site. Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Dave Winer: "That's what we're doing, perfecting a tool for easier, quicker, blogging on a smaller scale." I'll call it thoughtStreaming. Permanent link to this item in the archive.
