edward is requesting our fav libraries. mine is the berkeley public library. ![]()

on fly of professor billiards. i simply love spamusement. ![]()
i'm going to use my swicki to enter all of my OPML Editor FAQs from now on. ![]()
isn't it illegal to have received all those mp3s from phat tuesday's playlist? or are those particular tracks allowed to be shared? can i use them in my podcasts without paying royalties? can i redistribute them? i looked around and couldn't find any answers. will try the podcaster himself if i need to. ![]()
i love curt's header image. ![]()
perhaps we could get some kind of gravatar support for the editor. and then our pictures in the instant outline buddies window would look like whomever or whatever we want. ![]()
what is podserve? ![]()
yeah, baby. that phat tuesday new orleans music that dave gifted us today is rockin! ![]()
based on the existing results, of all the tags that are displayed by default in my opml editor search engine, the most popular is theme. interesting. very interesting. ![]()
Help me feed the OPML Editor Search Engine ![]()
Wanted! Your fresh search terms for the OPML Editor Search Engine to help the OPMLites out there get focused results to their OPML Editor questions.
You can help by simply entering search terms into the OPML Editor Search Engine. Based on your queries, I can see what terms the community is searching for and then focus and hone the search engine results accordingly. Thank for helping. And I'd like to point out that this is a community based search engine. I just maintain it. So, together we can build it. For instance, if you believe a page should be listed on a results page and it isn't, let me know and I'll consider adding it to the search results. There's even more we can do but first thing is to get your search terms into it.
is there an OPML Editor reading list yet? ![]()

i like a challenge. so, i'm going to get to work on part 2. a movie to show how easy it is go post from opml editor to website. would be fun to make more of these. maybe i can make some for consideration on the OPML 1.0 site coming up. ![]()
after downloading newsriver.root again, i was able to get the phat tuesday new orleans music. can i do this kind of thing? can i offer up a bunch of mp3s using an opml editor script that i encourage others to download and run? ![]()
YEAH! that was so cool! that's what i would call yoyoStreaming. everything that i want to get good at i must practice every day and then it gets to a level like this kid (well, hopefully maybe at least a fraction of his level of talent) where things just happen naturally as say, typing into an outliner and hitting save. ![]()
yoyo master. and some people say i have too much time on my hands. ![]()

thoughtStreaming is not just weblogging. it's free form, rapid fire, seeking empty head weblogging. transfer your thoughts to your thoughtStream and let them percolate so your mind can move on to other things. ![]()
would be nice to have an 'edit this page' button on my pages such as this one. ![]()
thought on. thought off. thought on. thought off. ![]()
i guess my thoughtBubble support style worked! ![]()
You are a genius, thanks again, you came to my rescue.pops said you are the go to guy, when it comes to getting sites and shit done....
good job.
mom and pop
on the opml editor support email list, Wei-Yen Tan requests "Being able to pull down existing posts into the OPML" Editor. i agree. from wordpress we are talking about. ![]()
steven cohen: "sharkle is the premier online video sharing community." ![]()
i'll take fresh starts for $100
chug, chug, froufrou, whoosh
the sound a vacuum makes when abandoning gmail
my mom can't find the sidebar in iPhoto and emailed me for help. so, with my new found thoughtStreaming powers, i created a thoughtBubble and emailed it back to her. much easier than trying to explain this stuff by typing. check it out if you care to.

this may be a solution to my earlier request for a way to put an on the air/off the air button on my site. by flashCasting using the procedure i outlined here, the on the air/off the air button and info go right in my thoughtStream, not on my site template. makes more sense. i like it. and by date and time stamping it, the reader knows immediately whether or not they've missed my flashCast or if they should bother trying to catch it cause it might be too late. wonder if i should record all my flashCasts as thoughtBlips? Or, maybe i look at it this way. all thoughtBlips are flashCasted. ![]()
introducing.... the flashCast.
![]()
camelCase MashUps and flashCasts. ![]()
mashing in enjoyment. flashCasts are like this. let's say i'm gonna spout off on something. in accordance to the thoughtStream style, nicecast is already running waiting for me to push the Start Broadcast button so all i need to do is push that button, switch to my OPML Editor, hit command-4 to get the date inserted like the following... type a short description of my flashCast, add the tune in now link to hear this flashCast live and hit save.
2/28/06; 5:27:05 PM by DW Tune into my flashCast right now to listen to me talk about flashCasting.
and just for kicks as well as those of you who are tuning in too late to catch my flashCast, i also recorded it and am linking to the first flashCast here as well as enclosing it in the next posting (why not attach the enclosure here? See this post) thus eating my own dog food and creating a thoughtBlip out of a flashCast for my thoughtStream.
been thinkStreaming about how i want to use newsriver. i already use bloglines and will probably keep using that and netnewswire to read my existing subs. perhaps i will use newsriver as my reading list reader. only reading lists that i get from others go in there. ![]()
i'm going to create an opml outline of good musical sources with creative commons licenses ![]()
electronic fingering. more later maybe. ![]()
artformula: thoughtStream two. ![]()
You say 221 Goodbye... I say 420 Hello. ![]()

i'm trying to update my billing information with my health care provider. the wait time is 27 minutes. on my cell phone? i don't think so. will try the web site. it cost me .50 to figure that out. cell phones suck. ![]()
one thing i really like about dave winer is that he's not afraid to dance. we all are meant to dance.. to move our bodies. to expReSS ourselves in our own unique way.
babeland: "The most common form of personal lubricant available today, water-based lubricants are safe to use with latex products like condoms and dental dams." liquid silk is the best imho. ![]()
i have no idea what stefan is saying but i like the sound of it. ![]()
is it really the last day of the month? ![]()
turn my opml editor in a del.icio.us link generator, please. i want to create a new entry, type a word or two. make the new entry a link by either choosing Add Link from the HTML menu or right clicking and choosing Add Link. Then, i right click one final time and choose del.icio.us from the categories menu. hit save. that category marked entry should get sent off to my del.icio.us account. now, how to deal with meta tags for that link. i dunno. i just want to post to del.icio.us as effortlessly as possible frm my editor. a del.icio.usStream. ![]()
all work and no thoughtStreaming makes donovan a dull boy. ![]()
boy, i sure do hear from the userland folk a lot this time every year. now, gotta work on the rest of the year part. ![]()
"Greetings from the community server for Radio UserLand 8. This is a reminder that your Radio UserLand serial number will expire soon."
looks like it's going to be a musical, phat day after all. dj amber reminds me to check out the Cloud Factory Mixes site. ![]()
"Download many years of sets, including some of my own, from the Cloud Factory Mixes site. If you like the tunes, please make a donation through the site to help defray costs of offering the sets online."
the cloud factory throws the best parties in the bay. dancing, music, fashion shows, raves, campouts, friendly people and did i mention lots of dancing?
gotta git me a .plan ![]()
what's the dealio with youtube? i've seen a number of videos on this site. perhaps it might be a good repository for my vids? ![]()
since i can't tune into dave's phat tuesday playlist, i'll tune into the 1985 grammy awards featuring Stevie, Herbie, Thomas and Howard. i used to have hair like howweird and i dig thomas' doo. oh man. i don't think i could have a bigger smile on my face. this video is so... um... 1985. (oh wow. i can't believe it. the ending is too much) ![]()
when book come out. buy book. ![]()
my posts aren't being upstreamed (is that the term we use for opml editor?) to my site. restart the editor. how about now? ![]()
my buddy's jumbo faux fur uv reactive practice poi arrived. they are beautiful and we've managed to bonk ourselves in the head far too many times. well, he has anyway. ![]()
