i created a library.opml file i like to call my favorite libary for inclusion in Edward's library roll. 
here we go again. i'm once again subscribed to many email lists. mostly opml related. how to tame the beast? i guess digest format but i don't want to miss the daily action.
gotta learn more about gettin' my xoxo on. i've read your page, les but still i have no idea what xoxo is or why i'd want to convert my opml files to it. i'm sure there is a good reason, i just can't g-rok it.
Outline Processor Markup Language or OPML
i desperately need this. tikouka talks about managing screenshots. 
interesting read. i like how tikouka ties in snapz pro with iview media pro. very smart. i'm going to need a solution like that soon enough as well.
after reading the post i can't help but think how much the opml editor might add to tikouka's workflow.
ah. for the first time in a long time, i was going to add the getting real book link to my Books folder in URL Manager Pro. But it wasn't running. so rather than start it up, i've decided to push it to del.icio.us instead. i guess this marks a new phase in my life.
idea: TheOpmlEditorCrunch, a TechCrunch equivalent type of site. each post is focused on what one person is doing with their opml editor.
TheOpmlEditorCrunch profiles and interviews OPMLites (OPML Editor users) to find out how people are using the editor. TheOpmlEditorCrunch is written by Donovan Watts.

| http://www.opml.org/spec2 is the next element. less important but nice. docs. borrowed from rss. http address for docs used in opml file. good for those who stumble across your document 25 years from now so they can figure out how the format works. i like it |

| once the road map door is closed, then we can put in back doors. at least this way we have one solid doc that we can all rely on. all the back doors are secondary. this is called extending opml. |
| need stability but allow for possibility for change. |
| don't use the term standard. use recommended instead like the wc3 does for namespaces. |
| use namespace |
| another thing unique to opml is type attribute of opml node is powerful pivot place for extensibility. handle user gestures that apply to outline nodes. wow! |
| will not publish a list of node type. because that is an access of exetensibility for opml. huh? |
| now, the third paragraph.. |
| huge problem in rss community. funkyness. hmmm funky. |
| language is a guideline. when considering a new namespace or node type. developers should use capabilities that are already in use by others, or included in this spec or rec or guidelines. check it out first, yo. and do it the way they did it. so cool when people do that. |
| postel's law: be conservative in what you send and liberal in what you receive. it applies to all of us. |
| it's really simple! tech industry makes things complex. fear, uncertainty, doubt... ibm's motto. so, you've gotta go with them. that was their strategy. |
| bottom line. it's not too technical. read the doc, apply some common sense, join the email list and keep listening to dave. |
| 2. road map. seen how important this is in rss roadmap. not published yet. just review document at this point. as long as the review takes (probably sixty days) then it'll get FROZEN. no changes whatsoever after that. was bad idea for rss 2.0 and won't repeat this mistake again. |

dean, i took a brief look at your new theme and i believe you may have an extra /div tag right before your sidebar code. try removing that /div tag and see if that helps. that's great if you can make it look like your wordpress blog!

An ironic thing: My decafbadNewsRIver aggregator is much more focused on blog entry titles than the standard NewsRiver. This is because most of the feeds I read all follow the Title-Link-Description style of blogging. But, now that I'm getting into this rapid-fire brain dump OPML blogging, many of the entries from the more recent additions to my reading lists are all completely without titles. nice, i saw that audio hijack pro posting in netnewswire. i right clicked on it, chose copy with attribution, switched to the editor, clicked new entry, paste. done.
Audio Hijack Pro 2.6.5 Released
Audio Hijack Pro 2.6.5 has just been released, with several small updates. It now features the ability to power the machine on to run timers (automatic login is required), as well as adding support for the tagging of AIFF recordings. In addition, 2.6.5 is the first version with built-in support for Intel Chip Based Macs (ICBMs).
