after following dave's instructions to delete the icons subfolder in my appearance folder inside the OPML folder, i now see the red arrow.
testing an opml outline whose name does not end in .opml

| | the neat thing about opml 2.0 is that filenames don't have to end in .opml to be included in other people's outlines or whatever. |
hmmmm. that's interesting to me. i updated opml editor, added two new entries to today's outline, one a feed to scripting news, the other an outline. i see that the outline has fully expanded on my site. and i see that the feed doesn't have any kind of link. seems like it should to me. sure, i can expand these in my outline but seems to me that the feed link should at least be linked up on my public site.
unfortunately, i don't see the red arrow next to the inclusion node below.

opml editor update 0.69 just went fine.
this fellow installed S5 and Instiki. Neat!
if my camera weren't broken i would have posted pictures of the living room that we painted today. it came out beautifully. trust me.
now, if i can just figure out how to get these thoughtStream posts into little cartoon bubbles that pop out of the main characters head (the puppet in my header area) then i would feel complete. so, i want an xoxo colored pair of glasses that will convert my opml editor entries into cartoon like bubbles on my wordpress site. any takers? i'm sure this will be a big thing on the web if only it existed.
i invite you to check out my newly themed wordpress site, donovan's brain. i'm using the most excellent squible theme (slightly customized of course) which adequately fits just about everything i'm doing right on the home page; blog, recent last.fm tracks, previous post links, comment links, asides, link to my directory, search and more.. a fine, fine theme.
is there any way to create opml files on my nokia 770? i want my opml editor!
the more i use my little nokia 770, the more i keep looking at my laptop as my new server.
i kept wanting a mac mini to act as my server (which of course would still be sweet) but since that's not a reality for me, it's forcing me to rethink things. for instance, opml editor is now my rss feeds server. and instiki is my personal wiki which i now edit from my internet tablet. this picture shows me editing my radio userland instiki, which lives on my laptop, from my nokia...
