too bad i can't use webdav with dreamweaver. something in their code makes it not work on textdrive at this time. 
how about if your reading lists were smart, very smart. and they started taking matters into their own hands, subscribing and unsubscribing from feeds for reasons we may not understand. according to the brain of the reading list anyway. sure, we can create them but i'd like to release one that knew how to adapt to the topic based on some set of parameters. perhaps how many times the subscriber actually clicks on one of the feeds provided in the reading list? if it's really low, perhaps it could offer to 'jail' that particular feed and only present the other feeds. us humans are great at starting things but sometimes it's difficult to continue on but then you have all these people who are dialed into your reading list and you must tend to it. i wonder if the tending could be facilitiated by a computer? maybe we need an opml editor 2 metaweblog-api wiki reading list site where the reading list you are subscribed to could be changing every time someone decides to update the wiki with how the world should work according to him or her? hehehe
just figured out one of the final pieces of the pair to textdrive transition. need to deactivate markdown plugin 1.0.1 in order to see the body text of my wordpress sites.

Official Intel Support For SoundSource.
Today, we've posted a small update to SoundSource, our free audio device switcher menuextra. With today's update, SoundSource gains official support for Intel Chip Based Macs (ICBMs). This update also requires OS X 10.3.9, so if you're still using an older OS be sure to stick with version 1.0.5. If you've got a new Intel Mac, however, update now.

I just created a TextDrive Reading List and then subscribed to it in OPML Editor. So far there are three feeds, all of them from the textdrive help desk.

ajaxwrite is like microsoft word on the web. sort of like writely i guess but not owned by google or whoever it was that bought it up.

makes me wish that whenever someone started a new site, they were required to use a cms of sorts just so that the data is in some structure. hand coded, dreamweaver sites are the norm though for many people that come to me for help. the first thing i suggest is that they move out of the stone age and get going with wordpress, or radio, or textpattern or whatever else will help automate and structure their documents for the web.
textpattern has always been on my periphery. never tried it but wouldn't mind checking it out. i like the home page explaining what textpattern is and why it's a good choice. very well written.
