In an attempt to bring down my budget, we are now looking into used items. That means the hunt is on for used solar panels and other goodies. We are even considering the used satellite route as well. It's tricky piecing everything together but it's also a fun part of the journey. 
Pearls of wisdom 
I love the pearls of wisdom that others can bring into your life. This one came from Big Jim on the Cortez group.
Fix the stuff that can kill you then the stuff that would leave you stranded along side the road. After that, mix a little fun by camping in with the projects.

For those of you heading to Washington state for the summer, you might like to know the following:WASHINGTON STATE FORESTS There is no fee for camping in Department of Natural Resources developed areas. On most holiday weekends, camping is on a first-come, first-served basis; for information or to make reservations, call 360-801-1080. Pack out garbage and leave a clean site.
