Pinball 
The pinball machine crouched in the corner of the stranger's crowded garage. The night was warm as my brother, his son and I made the trek to purchase the game. Crammed in the cab of a truck, we all laughed and it was fun. The man of the house helped strap the machine down to the bed of the truck. He did a superb job, all the while boasting of his previous jobs as repo man, airport baggage handler and some other job that would necessarily produce one that would be adept at strapping down items such as the pinball machine.
Before we left, I was having a discussion with the resident mouse, explaining to him that he would have to vacate the premises promptly. "For what reason may I ask?" queried the rodent that could fit in my hand. "I don't care to share my living space with you and that's final. I'm the human and you are not the human. Therefore, what I say goes. Mice live outside."
My Mum disclosed the location of "mouse-friendly" traps in my vicinity. I'll seek them out tomorrow and then the hunt will be underway. "Enjoy what you had, Mr. Mouse. The party's over." I whispered to the team members, hoping to enlist their support.
As I neared the day's retirement, I kept thinking to myself, drifting, let it go... let it be... boondocking is the life for me.
Sprocket wanted mushroom soup so mushroom soup for dinner it is. We'll let you know in a couple of hours how good it is.

Today we learned about a new Wiki site called Wetpaint. Wikis are cool because they allow anyone to create and contribute to a web site. Since boondocking is our team credo, we thought we'd try a new wiki on that topic. And so, in it's infant stage, we present, Boondockers, the wiki.
