It's all about the shell 
Daisy is up for sale. I threw together an ad and posted her on craigslist. We'll see how it goes. I love Daisy but I need a van, plain and simple.
We all woke up excited this morning because we were going to look at a 5 speed Vanagon in Glendale. What a bummer that was. The van drove pretty nice but it looked like a crack addict had been living in it. Everything was broken. I mean everything. Every single window handle was snapped. The rear door wouldn't stay up without a pole. No gas cap. Dents in the roof. Exposed wires. Odometer doesn't work. The guy on the phone said it had 150,000 miles. He must have driven another 50,000 miles before I showed up. Hmph. Bottom line, I didn't trust the guy. Nothing about his story added up and besides, the van smelled funky. Here me now, I will not purchase a stinky van. I will not purchase a stinky van. No mold, no funk, no smells, nothing. Oh well, onward!
Today Daisy asked me to tighten the belt which had come loose. It's the power steering belt and it was really affecing our driving. Well, we are happy to say that the bolt was tightened, I got my hands nice and greasy and all's well. Sprocket snapped a shot of the loose bolt right before I dove in.
