Pre-tirement 
That's where I'm at. One thing that really stands out as I research world-of-rv is that most people I'm reading and communicating with are many years older than me. Most are retired and for some, it seems, that money isn't so much of an issue. They have social security or retirement money or a lifetime of savings to draw on. Not me. I'm a young web developer on a tight budget. It's a tough field, the web. There are so many players and the day of the solo web designer/developer is just about over for the most part. It takes a team to create a powerful site and there really isn't enough money in doing the 'simpler' sites to sustain oneself.
So, to be a part of a team is a much different reality than working for yourself, by yourself. There are expectations, taxes, conference calls, time-zones, schedules, and so much more that must now be divided and taken into account amongst the members of team. Fortunately, my team partner, Canton, has been working with me for three or so years and we've figured out how to work with each other fairly well.
"So you are an independent businessman, working for yourself and with a partner, looking to become a fulltimer, drifting up and down the Pacific Coast, all the while remaining connected to the internet in order to sustain your online habit or business or whatever you call it to justify the expense and time you spend behind that screen." summarized Sprocket as if my ramblings are too rambly and in need of summarization in order to be clear.
