I'll be using 88 Miles to track my time worked for clients, instead of iBiz, from now on. There's a mobile WAP edition too. I wonder if it works with Sprocket4? Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Yes, I've got a new attitude. Rather than saving up for and purchasing a screaming fast, totally decked out laptop as I usually do, this time I'm going to save up for and purchase a low-end Apple laptop and use the money I save to purchase online services such as a Pro Flickr account, a Basic Backpack account, a Blinksale account, etc. That way, all my stuff lives on the net, not on my laptop. This process is already well under way for me. Starting from scratch makes it easy. Permanent link to this item in the archive.

I appreciate how easy Panic makes it for customers like me to retrieve serial numbersPermanent link to this item in the archive.

It's back to Ta-da lists for me. Online, Donovan. Keep it all online. Even your to-do lists. Permanent link to this item in the archive.

We all need a good ftp app, right? I just reinstalled the best on the Mac, Transmit. I plan to setup some drop folders so I can keep all my files on my remote Strongspace server, instead of locally on this Mac. Permanent link to this item in the archive.

For years I've used iBiz to track work time and invoice my clients. Well, the thief made off with that application and data so I start anew. In keeping with my "it's all going to live on the internet from now on" mantra, I decided no to replace iBiz and instead start managing and sending my invoices using Blinksale. I just sent off my first invoice and I really like how easy they make the process of billing clients. I can send three free invoices in a month. Next level is 50 invoices for $12/month. Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Can anyone tell me how to get my serial number on Apple's stolen laptop database? Apple says the Police have to report it. The Police say I have to report it. Help? Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Thanks for the kind words, Open All Night. The have's and the have not's gap is growing indeed. Permanent link to this item in the archive.

Hi internet neighbors. More theft blogging! Today I went to the Post Office, paid $200 and ordered a new Passport. The cost included getting pictures taken as well as expediting the process so I can get it quicker. It's still going to take two weeeks to arrive. Permanent link to this item in the archive.

I also paid the money to bump my AAA plan up to Premiere so that I have much better coverage as I drive around the Pacific Northwest, in search of who knows what? Permanent link to this item in the archive.

The people I was house-sitting for when my stuff was stolen are trying to get their home owner insurance to cover the theft but it's proving a bit difficult. You know how it goes... pay money for insurance for years and then when you go to make a claim, they put you through the ringer, desperately trying to avoid helping you out in your time of need. Oy. Permanent link to this item in the archive.

I'm sorry to say but I am becoming cynical. Spurts of extreme anger at the person who stole my stuff continues to boil up in me from time to time. It takes all I can muster to steer my thoughts elsewhere. As I said before, writing helps. Permanent link to this item in the archive.
