Start here
It's a beautiful, breezy yet sunny day here in San Dimas, California. I haven't spent this much time in the Los Angeles area since I was in high school. That's about twenty years ago. Wow. 
Niko the VW Vanagon should be ready to roll any day now. Then I'm going to take Sprocket4 and our borrowed laptop, the Green Genie and scoot on up the coast, boondocking wherever we see fit, until we reach Redmond, Washington.
I've been researching replacement Apple laptops and I'm not quite sure what to do just yet. Get a new MacBook on payments? How about a refurbished one to save some dough? Or I could get a 12" G4 PowerBook on craigslist. Should I get a laptop that accepts a PC card in case I ever get another Verizon cell card? That seriously limits my choices though. Hmmm.
