Whitehouse Stonewall on Abramoff Meetings
Abramoff had "a few staff-level meetings" at the Bush White House, presidential spokesman Scott McClellan said Tuesday. But he would not say with whom Abramoff met, which interests he was representing or how he got access to the White House. Bush claims he doesn't know Abramoff "personally". And what does "personally" exactly mean? Look, Abramoff raised over $100,000.00 for Bush during the last campaign. How much face time with the President do you get for 100 large? |
