The entry for pubs reminds me of a car game friends taught us to play in England. You count the number of legs suggested by pub names or signs. So the the Pig and Whistle would score 4, The Dog and Duck: 6, and Jolly Farmer: 2 and so on. Of course ones like The Queens Head are a disapointment, and ambiguous ones like The Fox and Geese are good for wrangling. Yay! Google Maps has now mapped Australia and New Zealand with street names. |
